These were taken at Diefenbaker Park in Tsawwassen during the Xmas holidays when all of the family was together. You can still see the ice on the pond in the background. It was chilly but a beautiful day. So happy the sun came out! It creates such awesome light….. and check out the stunning blue eyes on Paula!

First of all I have to say a big thank you to all of my clients for all their kind words about my blogging and how they love to follow my work and see new photos. I am blessed to have such an inspiring group of people that are so supportive!!! I wish you all a fantastic and healthy 2010!
Now on to my first blog for 2010!…
We had a blast photographing the Catchpole family! We found beautiful light down in Burns Bog which is always an amazing location to shoot at. I love the black and white family shot. This gang was game to try anything. We have a new line of portraiture called “Off the Wall, On the Wall” where we capture an “off the wall” fun, funky, crazy or creative shot to hang “on the wall”. I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family celebration for Corinne and Dennis’ 50th Anniversary! The event took place at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau in Whistler. The rain cleared long enough for us to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor light for some lovely shots around the hotel. Love the shot of the cousins in the forest. They were off to dinner at the Chateau with speeches, songs and poems…. a very warm and fun-loving attractive family who know how to celebrate!

A fun family shoot…
The Westguard family are big into baseball and have some very talented athletes in their family! We did a fantastic shoot with daughter Tayla, down at the softball diamond for her fabulous grad shoot. Check out the posting for ‘Glamour at Bat!’ Afterwards we went back to their amazing home and took a few family photos of this good looking gang in their beautiful backyard!
