Michelle grew up with an appreciation & love of the arts & was encouraged to pursue her dreams. She explored many creative paths at first, working in the fashion industry & costume design which later led her to her true passion in Photographic Arts.

While raising a family Michelle completed the Photography Certificate Program at Langara College & drew inspiration from many of her talented instructors. Her studies were balanced with work in the industry. She shot everything from sports action to still life including Canucks hockey games & alumni golf tournaments, theatre productions, charity events as well as producing images for CD covers & fashion shows. As her love for portrait photography grew she discovered the beauty and emotion captured in our life's stories.

Always on the edge of current photography styles & trends, Michelle has an innate ability to find & capture the art of the moment. With her relaxed manner & grace she puts her subjects thoroughly at ease & they often forget a camera is there, allowing her to capture pure unscripted moments to treasure forever.

When the first of our three sons was born & my husband gave me my first "real" camera, I began to record our boys growing up. After seeing all of our precious memories on film, I immersed myself into the world of photography & have had a camera in my hand ever since. My greatest passion is to photograph people & produce timeless images that take our breath away.
